My grandfather was Thomas Irving born 1898 son of Robert Irving. Cumberland.
My grandmother was Margaret Gill born 1898 daughter of Robert Gill.

I thought i had got somewhere with Thomas but have then dound two Roberts and unsure where to go.
I can not pick a thread up at all for Margaret.

If anyone could help i would be extremely grateful

Do you know the occupations of both fathers? & of Thomas?

Are there any clues on the marriage certificate of the couple ? ie witnesses being possible siblings?
