Find Ancestors

Hello everyone i am new to this and i am trying to find my G Grandfather THOMAS JONES Birth.
He married ELIZABETH JANE EDWARDS in ASHBY DE LA ZOUCH LEIC. 24th Dec 1886, the Marriage Cert states he was 29yrs old at the time.
I don't know for sure where Thomas was born.
I have found Elizabeth and the family in the 1891 and1901 Census but thomas is not shown, Elizabeth is shown as head and Married.
Elizabeth is still having children though, so where is Thomas?

What was Thomas father's name on the marriage cert? What was their occupations?

That was quick,thanks, Thomas father was also Thomas, they were both coal miners. H.

Could be Thomas was working a night shift and not actually sleeping in the house on the census night.
