Hi Margaret & Sylvia - Thomas Herridge B1846 Mere and Elizabeth married 1869 so is there any possibility of getting 1871 + census to check out the family, hopefully it won't be so difficult this time.

In 1851 Thomas lived with his parents Frederick and Mary at Wellhead, Mere 1861 it just says Mere but in 1871 his parents were living Tatts Yard, westbury.
Does that help. I have tried 1881 but can't find anything, I hope this helps
