Trying to find any birth info on Frederick Lawrenc

He was born at home: 337 Ladbroke grove, sub-district of Kensington north. I believe most of the children were born around there. Edith became pregnant at 16.

When you do find out do let me know as I have a huge collection of Longs, Denmarks over there somewhere............. she said waving an arm around ! Sorry if it all comes a bit fast but once you get hold of a line of thought we all start to pull together !

Seham, my father Harry Kenneth Lawrence was born on 5 Nov 1923. He had three brothers Wilfred, Albert, Les, Eddie and a sister but cant remember her name. My Father was the youngest.

If you want to order a birth cert you can do it on line GRO, take the details and a credit card and follow the instructions, make sure you get every detail right, and it might arrive in a week.

Maybe before you take the plunge we should see if any births of any of their children appear in the right years and the right regions.
Can you give any idea on when, who and where we should look for Lawrence/ Smith children ? Approximate years will do.

Sorry, I should have read your thread properly. You say that your father got special leave in 1943, can I assume that was for the funeral ?
