Did Margaret die before the 1891?

Deaths Sep 1886
Taylor Margaret 47 Woolwich 1d 643

This means she would have been abt 44 when she had Edward John.

I have the birth of EDWARD JOHN in 1883,and says parents are WILLIAM and MARGARET BROOKS, then I sent for the marriage of WILLIAM and MARGARET, so I think they are right parents and so do you. Actually, Edward John went on to name his daughter in 1911 MARGARET, so think with loads of help from you and everyone have cracked it. Thanks soooo much xxx

MrsBucketBouquet Report 23 May 2008 21:05

I think his birth is either one of these.....

Births Sep 1883
TAYLOR Edward John Woolwich 1d 1191

or this one...

Births Sep 1882
Taylor Edward Woolwich 1d 1134

Nothing else comes close!

Good luck and dont forget the rule....never pay more than £7 per cert.

Yeh, thats the one I thought at first, like I say I changed my mind when I found William with Margaret who was a Carman. UUURRHH! It's so frustrating. I don't know where to go next ! I suppose he could have changed jobs in between 4 years as like someone said, the CARMAN job was linked to the railway as well. I already looked that up the other week as I wasn't sure what a carman was. Thanks so much for your very helpful ideas. At least someone else has same thoughts as I have had, even though there is a possible 2 families !

BUt based on Edward marrying in sept qtr 1905 and aged 22 I think its unlikely to be the one with mother mary , He was already 19 in early 1901 when the census taken so come Septqtr 1905 he would be at least 23 pos even 24 if his birhday was before Sept qtr 1901

Yup, I thought it was that one, not so sure now I found William married to Margaret as that William Taylor is a stationary engine driver, and EDWARD'S dad at least was a CARMAN, albeit in 1905. See why I can't connect with right one !
