I think I do have this marriage (from Pallot's), but it didn't include the fact that the groom came from Oxfordshire - useful information in my ongoing quest to link the Oxfordshire and London branches of this family!

Could you please look up a Reginald Charles Noakes born c 1917 ,he lived in East Finchley london for a while in 1944 ,I am looking for his parents he was born in Hastings and I believe married to a lady named Rose

Hi Cathy, Wonderif you can help me pleae.
My grandfather was William John White born c.1872 died 2nd Feb 1942. (Bethnal Green, London). He married Isabella Eliza Copp on 16 April 1905. I have his death certificate but can't find a birth certificate, or any other detail of William. Not very 'up' on this genealogy so your advice would be appreciated.

Looking for a William Beverton marriage in Middlesex pre 1837. Do not have much info just know the family based in London.

you kindly found Reginalds Noakes birth for me ,Since found out it was 1918 and not 1917
Would it be possible to find his marriage from this
I guess it would have been about 1936/38
all we know is her name was Rose

Hi Cathy, I wonder if you could help please. I hae been trying for so long!! I am trying to trace my g.g. gradfather, Joseph Eva's birth. Born in St Stephens, middlesex, c 1852, to father John and mother Martha ( I think) Not sure if your discs will cover this. I have found him on the 1861 census, living in Tower Hamlets, but his mother's name has changed to Simpson. Thank you. Sue

I have checked all the parishes listed on the Middlesex disc and haven't found William Beverton. As i go through the other discs i will keep my eyes peeled for him.
