Hi Tracey

Can I be a bit cheeky?

If the info is alphabetical would you be able to check for any MOCOCKs on there? Sometimes they show as MORECOCK/MOORCOCK. I'm doing a One Name Study on them so any info is useful, but I think that my direct line came from "somewhere up north" so it's possible that there would be something on that line but no idea of specific area. (My direct ancestor is Thomas MOCOCK by the way).

If this is time-consuming or tricky then please don't spend time on it.

Many thanks

Jill

nudge, will post my request in a sec, just looking at tree now :-)

Tracey/Wayne you're a star. Can I have a Priors Hardwick lookup for the Wilkins surname please? I have some info off the IGI, not sure if its correct. Not sure what info your discs give? But I have Robert Wilkins married Mary Tidman in June 1786, is the marriage there? His father John Wilkins married Sarah Adams in Wormleighton in 1750, not sure you have that area but maybe?
THANKYOU x

Eeek (claps hands) thankyou so much. Have you been to Priors? I have a pic of the church if you want it! My husbands ancestor donated the clock on the tower. Its a BEAUTIFUL village. My husbands lot lived at Church End, mostly.

Lol, wish we lived over there. My father in law worked at Fenny Compton quarry! We're just outside Coventry now, but get over to Harbury and Chesterton once a month. I have quite a few in Long Itch too (well, hubbys lot not mine).

Could you please look for the name Palfreyman or Palfryman? If I need to be more specific let me know. On the census it just says they were born In Warwick so I'm not sure exactly where. Thanks.

Hi and thanks for the offer.

I have a Stephen Summers marrying Elizabeth Freeman in Leamington Priors on 1 December 1834 - I am hoping Phillimore's Index gives which parish the bride and groom were from. A long shot I know, but I am stuck with this set of grandparents.

Sorry Phillimores only goes upto 1812 in Leamington Priors

To marry in the parish, one or both would have had to be from there... or at least say they were from there. Sady even if they did say they were from that parish, there is no guarantee they were.....sometimes they organised it so it looked like they were to avoid the extra payment of the banns in another parish.

Hello Wayne and Tracey

If your kind offer of look ups is still available could you see if you can find the following:

Marriage for William Neal who married Frances(surname unknown) around 1782. William was born in Fenny Compton in 1754.

Marriage for Thomas Neal and Elizabeth (surname unknown) between 1742-1750. Thomas was born in Fenny Compton 1724.

Thanks in advance.
