The 1871 one seems to be the son of Emily & Alpheus, so would go for the 1859 myself.??

Amy

Amy Report 27 Jul 2008 12:00

You could be right there. That would have made him about 35 years old when Marjorie was born.
Any more info on the 1859 Alpheus please??

Am still at a loss with this one. I can't find any reference to Peterborough at all! I know he died in P'Boro but have checked records etc with no luck. If anyone can find anything, please please post it here.

Thanks again for everyone's hard work as always :-)

Amy

Amy Report 27 Jul 2008 18:59

I have been told he died somewhere between 1940 and 1950 but I have checked all of the death records I could find to no avail.
As far as i'm aware, he lived in P'boro at some point in his lifetime.

Yes I used Ancestry as I am a subscriber... had no luck there. I will have to try to get some more info from my grandmother on this one I think. It's tough though as she has Altziemers.
I know nothing of a Morton Jeal unfortuantely.
Thanks for looking though, much appreciated :-)
