The Blue Tongue vaccine has just arrived for the sheep - It only lasts 8 hrs when its open and the neighbour who wants to use it as well isn't here - Having dashed around to his farm! Husband away as well so this could be fun!!

John was a blacksmith born in Parr and their daughter Esther was born in possibly Haydock

Margaret's birth cert or Peter's marraige cert should settle the issue of their father

Yes but I can't remember which way it was rounded. There may only have been two years difference in their ages, if he was rounded down

There is a possible death of Adam below - I can't see him in a later census. In 1841 ages were rounded - I wonder whether she was described as a widow in her later marraige

Elizabeth went on to have another Ellen I think as there is an Ellen Swift born 1852 in Whiston with parents Elizabeth and John swift
