Interesting to read all the messages re a George Davey. Does anyone know anything about another George Davey born 1884 in Saltaire near Bradford. I know that he died in Newton Abbot in Devon in 1966, but I can't find his marriage. I know that his wife was called Bertha but that's it. Any ideas?? Elaine

Order his marriage cert first to get his age. Then you won't waste 7 pounds on the wrong death cert.

Their is no Barbra Davey registered birth with mmn Mackney in 1939, but their was on Barbra P Davey born bradford but mmn was atkinson june quarter 1939 Vol 9b page 13

wish you had told us about your mother being under atkinson could have saved time

It could be if they stayed in Bradford. Sharon seems to think the marriage was in Lichfield which is Staffordshire so I don't know.
