Find Ancestors

is there a way i can order annies birth cert without any more details?

i know her name; who, where and when she married, and her fathers name and occupation

yes i am using ancestry..

i have also found a william warner in 1901 married to jane.. in bermondsey, occupation infirmary porter which almost matches his occupation on annies marriage cert.. but that means he must have died between 1901 and 1903 and i can't find a death at the right time ..

also annie is not on the census with that family

Her father may have left the army in London and stayed there? Do you have a tree on Ancestry?

i can't seem to find her positively anywhere..

i have found one annie warner in 1891 at woolwich barracks with father william and mother ellen born about right time but in shorncliffe, kent which makes me wonder how she ended up being married in fulham ?

i'm at a complete loss

I can only find one birth for Annie Emily Warner but that would make her sixteen when she married. Do you have her in th 1891 census?

there are an awful lot of 19 year old annie warners who were servants in 1901

There is one death for William Warner that matches -

William Warner born about 1853 died A/J quarter 1893 Marylebone

no because all i am positive of at the moment is that her fathers name was william warner (deceased at time of wedding in 1903) whose occupation was "attendant at asylum"

no.. i can't seem to find a death record..

her last child was born in 1916 (according to my info) so it would have been after that

Well in this case the witnesses don't help - they were Sidney's sister Lottie and his brother-in-law William George Palmer!

Yeah they tended to declare the same address it was cheaper than having banns read in two different districts.

....and not so frowned upon in later years as it was mid 1800's !!
