Had a look on IGI for marriages for Thomas and Lucy and found this. As Lost for Words ;-) posted a message and the wife was called Louisa not Lucy.

What do u think of the below info? do I have a match?

Hi Clare

I've just had another look at both images (1841 & 1851) and I'm sure it's the same family. The address for both is John Street and Thomas is a Pearl Button Maker and then theirs Elizabeth Worrall living with them!

These are some births I found with parents Thomas and Louisa. They seem to wait to have the children christened.

Many thanks for those information.... i have a feeling some of the children u included have died in infant age as some of those are not shown on the 1851 and i think this does confirm that they did marry in 1828.

Thanks

Hi Clare

John Street Birmingham is about 1.5 miles from Handsworth area, so I think you have a match. Also found this birth !?!

Many thanks to LFW for looking up the above information and for Lucy/Louisa's christening... looks like a big possible. Deffo surname looks like to be mistranscribed so will need to look up on alternative surnames.

Thanks again

Clare
