Only the marriage cert will confirm if this is her..it should say where she was born..I think.?

If this is her..you need to look her up in the 1891 or 1901 census..that should give you parents siblings..etc...even where they were born with luck..

Have found Ruth on the 1891 census, says her parents were born Hammersmith London, but i am not ruling them out as her father is called frederick which is the name given to his grandson (if it is right relies) and he thought he got his name from an ancestor, and it is not in his other line, so need to go on the census and see if i can find Ruth parents with there parents,to see if they came from America?

I have a relation who was down as being born in Portsmouth...yet he was infact born in..Wentworth in Yorkshire...lol.
Even though the birth was registered in Portsmouth..very odd.

HI,
thanks for your reply,
could be the right family as i said Ruths Grandson my father in law, Frederick is named after someone in his family and Frederick it is not a name from the other side of his family,
so possibly Ruths father Frederick, but he has seen a photo where Ruth is an Native American,
but possible either her mothers or fathers ancestors came over earlier? from America
thanks
