Hi Sam,

The Obit was July 1932.

Hope that helps.

Hi Sam,

I think the J could be debatable because it's a poor quality microfiche copy from July 1932. So let's just say it's not J.

Thank you so much for looking!

Hi Barbara,

Perhaps Edith and Rebecca married between 1929 - July 1932?

As Julie did find that marriage for Mary Ann James I think in 1922 to John Godfrey.

Thank you,

Mary

Mary

Mary Report 10 Oct 2008 20:10

Excellent Julie!

That seems to be her. The quarter for her birth even matches the GRO entry for 1st Qtr 1893, Chesterfield.

So now we have matching:

Edith James marries ____ Gledhill
Rebecca James marries J____ Peach
Mary Ann James married John H Godfrey.

Now I know who they married, I just have to figure out when and where.

Thank you,

Mary
