Libby I dont know if this is a cheek but could you look for army records for Edward George Cooke b. 1920 Sambourne Studley I never found out his regement he was a prisoner of war in ww2 Those records might not be available Edward ( my Dad) was nephew of Heber. Anne.

So looks like he was a Herbert not Heber as you found His Father I confirm his Father was Daniel Cooke. No wonder I could not find him Thanks again Anne.
