I SHOULD GET THE ELIZABETH'S CERT IN POST IN A FEW DAYS AND HOPE THAT WILLIAM AMOS SMITH AND JESSIE MANN ARE ON THE CERT
IF THEY ARE I SHOULD BE ABLE TO AT LEAST GO BACK ANOTHER FEW GENERATIONS

I have now ordered a birth Cert with father Charles on it fingers crossed once again!!

I think you can pay the records office £3 per record to check each one you think it might be, then they only charge you £7 if they find it. If I were you I would call the genral records office or email them.

the information regarding checking documents is under 'document matches'

I'm thinking of using this for a family members birth certificate if the one I ordered as probably being the right one ends up being the wrong one. As £3 a times cheaper than £7.
