Find Ancestors

I am trying to find out more information on the above. Born in 1885 in South Elkington, Lincolnshire and died in 1944 in Italy in WWII.
I am researching the history of a house & he built the house concerned. I am trying to fill some holes I have in my research and would love any information on him, his wife or parents. I am particularly interested in info on his parents as it looks like when he was 16 he was living with his Uncle so I am trying to find out why.

It's chopped the name off - the surname is Bainbridge! Will try & alter the title it's obviously too long.

His widow wasn't a widow long in that case! But that's brilliant info.
I have not been able to nd any details on birth, marriage or death for either parents. Not sure the death is right is it as that would mean his father died before he was born. Actually just re-read it - does that mean he died 1910 or 1849? Also the marriage - is that 1881? He was not born 'til 1885.
I would love to know more about his wife Ethel Kathleen Bainbridge (Isaacs). She was the one that bought the land to put the house on in 1935.

Have found the marriage now - Ethel K Bainbridge married James KS Third in Kensington district, June quarter 1946.

Where can I find out when his parents died? I am unable to find anything on the census details.
Thanks for the details on the re-marriage of his wife. Any ideas where I can find some deails on her before she married John Bainbridge - her parents possibly?

Is this the family you are looking for .1901 census
As you said John is with his uncle at 16 so he would appear in there census report for 1901,it would appear that all the children bn Sth Elkington.
John could be living with the uncle for work reasons ie; joining the forces

Isacc before he marr,looks pretty well off.

Lindsay thanks for that - does look lkt the right one definitely. Looks like an unsure birth date with the info given by Susan 1849 or 1851.
What I don't understand is why I can't find this as when I have looked I cannot find anything on Isaac Sharpley Banbridge at all in the census records! It's been like he does not exist.
This info is great. I have suspected that the family must have been wealthy but was not sure if that was his side of the fanily or coming from his wife Ethel with her owning the land.
Do we have the maiden name of Isaacs wife Marion with havin the marriage details.

Hi Michelle That is the marr ,I have been trying to match it with Isacc's Ref no .
Isacc Sharpley Bainbridge marr ref 7a 1013 or 1018 in the indexes.
They have the same ref no so I would say that is who he married.
Isacc is the wealthy one before he married Marion King .

This is the only Isacc I can find in 1871,still does not say who his parents are though.
All the people with Isacc in this census are workers for him.before he married Marion King.
