I have Margueritte as being the daughter of Thomas 1860 not a neice!!! now im really confused.

Marmite,

Follow each thread from the beginning, mark everything down on a piece of paper. There was a Marguerita on the 1891 (cousin), and on the 1901 (step daughter) residing with Lucy Fairbrass (1891) and Tripp in 1901.

If you recall I found two possible records for Lucy Toole in 1881; one was a boarder (unemployed school mistress) and one listed as governess residing with parents Frances and Margaret Toole. Also listed residing with the family was a Margaret Tripp, age 19, niece.

Now, it's possible that Lucy Toole was listed twice (her parents may have listed her on their census). You need to write everything down on a piece of paper--you are getting confused with all this information that we/I have provided you. Now, you need to sort it all out, think about what records you need to obtain to confirm the information that regards to your family.
