Ok, Edith's first child would be a Neil Sambrooks. I don't have an exact date but it would be around 1936. I can confirm that though.

Hi Kirsty,

I got it from Ancestry but Findmypast will have it too.

It's the same reference.

September is the quarter
6d is the volume
1569 is the page number

The things I was/am confused about (that I should have made more clear, sorry) is that the volume I found is 6a and the one you found said 6d. I am guessing yours is correct?
