please please can any one help!!! i am trying to collect any info onmy great grandfather john oliver i know he married a maud vince i know they had 6 children of which i know there names and ome dates and places of births.i can not find any thing on maud or john i think they hit the bermuda triangle!!! iknow nothing of were they came from wen they married wen they died nothing but one thing i do know that in 1923 they lived eastmead a district of street somerset that is the only info i have which is correct many many thanks if you can help..

Was their eldest child born in 1923? Bet some-one in your family worked for Clarkes ;-)

he died in chippenham in the 80s /90s you may come across a clifford with mothers name oliver,and florence with mother as vines.

yes my grandfathers birth cert,which i am looking at now was registered by his father john oliver on the 23rd oct 1923 in the sub district of glastonbury mother maud oliver formely vince

THEODORE DIED CHIPPENHAM UNCLE DAVID PASSED IN CANADA IN THE 90S UNCLE CLIFF SOUTH AFRICA LATE 80S THAT IS ALL I KNOW

looked from 1912-1922 plenty of Cliffords and Davids but not with the mother's maiden name of Vince.Have found this Oct-Dec 1912

yes that baffled me have they put mothers married name instead of maiden name area correct

you may also stumble up on a florence oliver born langport mother vines have they made a mistake and should be vince

I'd be tempted to buy that cert.Might explain a few things then again it could throw up more questions.
