But remember -- the info from the IGI was submitted by someone, and it could be completely wrong. It could also be the result of someone seeing the actual parish record and misreading the surname themselves. |

Good Afternoon Evie, Richard and Sylvia I am having problems with my scanner so I cannot scan the document in looking at the document maybe the E could be an C but it is a fatter one than the one used on Clayton wish I could scan it in for yous guys sorry!!! |

Geordie - out of interest, could you have another look at the mother's maiden surname on his death cert - the one that you first thought looked like ESERTOT. I'm curious to know whether you think now that it could be CLARKSON, given the above info! |
