Weathers lousy but makes me feel at home!
I'm near Paris, so not too much difference to the weather in the South of UK and a bit better than the North, where I was born.

I'll look in tomorrow to see if you have found anything else.
Good Luck!

I'm in France, and you?

Think it would be easier to buy a birth certificate you will then be sure of both parents names. 1911 census will be out in one or two years so there's hope of finding something there too.

What has the family said that we may help in your search ?

Catherine

Catherine Report 19 Nov 2008 22:16

Just checked and Worksop is classed as West Yorkshire although it spans the boundries of Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire too.

I've checked 1901 census and can't find any Osbornes, of any name or any age or sex, living in Doncaster, so ?????????????????
