Well done! I cant find Alexanders death anywhere! Where did you manage to find it so that I can look it up and see the death cert. Where in Scotland did he die? I was only searching Renfrew.

This could be Alexander Senior. Although it would mean his fathers name was George Ross.

Someone has found a record of a death for an Alexander Ross, married to Isabella McDonald. Death recorded as 1865 and he was age 38, a carpenter and died in Greenock, Renfrewshire.

I cant find this record, can anyone find it and tell me where to look?

Info with that much detail re Alex's death can only come from a d.rego on SP, I'ld say.

what site is it that the death cert has been found for alexander ross in 1865 Greenock, is it scotlands people as I cant get it to show up.

I couldnt get that up on Scotlands People...have managed now though. Thanks for that. No credit left to look at death cert, lost my job yesterday, so just doing as much as I can without spending money.
