hi barbara
i think john william howarth was his father i was told that he died shortly after my grandad was born so thanks again im on nights at the moment and this comp will only let me do so much so will have to wait till i can beat my kids to the comp at home just hope my typing finger holds out filling all the info to my tree lol

You're very welcome! Glad to be of help. Looks like that marriage between Mark Hewitt and Mary K Howarth was correct too...(should have been Mary E but sometimes they make typos transcribing)
