you are so very kind, helping out a newby. I thank you very much, I meant my Aunt, my Dad's sister, she was 5 when she died, and I don't even know her name.

Thanks again, I appreciate everything. I suspect my Aunt was born in about 1940 maybe 1941

Here is Amy in the 1936 Vic electoral roll,

Name: Amy Marion Clark
Gender: Female
Electoral Year: 1936
State: Victoria
District: Echuca
Subdistrict: Tatura

William Alister is there, as a plumber, also a Clare Elizabeth and Rodger, Labourer and William, Dealer. The record just shows Tatura for all of them so may not be the same family. Regards Linda :)

sorry, I also know that Amy's sister was Olive Oke. My Dad was born on 14/02/1939, and I know his father died when he was about 18, but know very little about it. Apparently my Grandfather was an alcoholic, and died from liver cancer.

He was related to the Alister Clark of the rose, and stakes day fame, I believe Alister was a Great Uncle. He owned Glenara, in Bulla, and the family all lived in those basic areas. Bulla, Kyneton, etc. My dad also had family in Elwood, who he used to visit during school holidays.

Hope this helps further, and I appreciate everybody taking time to try and help me.

Cathie again

Hi, I am trying to chase my fathers family tree, and his family all dies when he was young, now he has died, my sister and I would like to find them. His father's name was William Alister Clark, and he married Amy marion Oke, possibly in Kynton. We believe Alister was a plumber, but are not sure, and they lived in Tatura, before Amy's death in about 1945. My Dad was about 6 at the time.

My dad (Alister Noel Clark) then went and lived with a childless Aunt and Uncle, in Kyneton. He also had a sister, who was about 5 and died in the car accident which killed his Mother.

If anybody could help me, I am completely unsure how to find anything more.

Thanks
Cathie
