Find Ancestors

Wow...that's disappointing...it really looked like a twin registration. And so she IS the one I found in Droitwich....it's going to be really difficult to find them I think. More frustrating that they are stated as born alive and still living...my pet hate has been the total/living/died as I have discovered I am missing no end of children (who died) and there's little or no way of finding them without speculating lots of dosh!

yes Frederick Pitt Died in Powick of general paralysis and brain haemorrage.
Diabetes runs in the family.

Nellie elizabeth Pitt is definatly not one of the missing two as the birth cert came this morning and has arthur and alice as parents.

Did you notice that the dsabilities colum for the 1911 posting for Fred Pitt says he was totally blind from 47 years?

My mother definatly remembers twin being on her mothers side.
We have reason to believe that Nellie Elizabeth is one.

Have sent for her birth cert.

My mum also remembers someone having dieabtes and went blind.

Have looked at the census can not find any clues.

That one is the daughter of Arthur and Alice Pitt

Have you got marriage and death certificates of family in case one of the 'missing' children appears on them as informant/witness (or even a will?)

It certainly looks like a twin registration. I am a twin and Ihave twins. All our registration volumes and pages match with each other. So I would say yes, this is Rosalie Thurza's twin sister.

Speaking to my mum she says there is a twin on her mothers side.
So i have ordered Nellie's birth cert.

It would be good if you would post the 1911 census details to include how many years they had been married and then confirm that they have had 4 children of which two had died.

There are an awful lot of Pitts born in Worcester
