Ok, Elizabeth Taylor (yes I know) married James Smith on June 16 1851 at Bagnall in the parish of Bucknall, Stoke on Trent, so after the census I think. I have looked for Elizabeth Taylor born 1833 +/- 2years born in Fair oak Staffs, also Elizabeth Smith and just Elizabeth with birth details, nowhere to be found!!!!!! Her fathers name Robert Taylor mother Sarah. Any Ideas!!

How old was James when they married and what was his occupation?

I presume you are trying to find her after the marriage.

Christine the age could have been rounded down in 1841 so she could have been about 7 and so 17 when married, but still young.
What is your relationship to her Gill?
