so far thomas has not shown up and his age would have been 1864/1865 from the 1901 census so you would have to find him on the 1871 census to see if he was William and Hannahs son.But william and Hannah married 1866 ,so i don't think that Annie with thomas is the right one

Well i would just like to thank you and everyone for all the help you have given me,i will send off and check all that you have said, hopefully i will get the out come i need,i have been doing this for weeks and it has only taken you afew hours to hopefully solve my problem.

Reading what you put from the census I feel sure that annie is george's daughter and is infact Nancy ,Nancy would have been 15 years old then. as i said before i can't find a Nancy only the annie birth i gave you. Also as Evie said Nancy could be a nickname for annie, I would invest in the Annie Birth this will give both parents,
when ordering the cert ,put george as her father,if it is not him they won't send it
William and helen census 1901 on page 1 the same as the 1911 census ,so pretty sure its georges

William Martin head age 62 married 43 yrs 6 children 5 lived nut and bolt forger west brom staffs.
Hannah Martin wife 64 married 43 yrs nut and bolt maker west brom staffs.
John william Martin son age 40 single nut and bolt worked in ironworks.
Annie Martin Grand daughter age 15 single born west brom staffs
This Annie Martin i was hopping to be Nancy that is why i need to find out who's parent she is from.
The address is 48 Lyng Lane west brom, signed by William Martin.

Having tried the 1911 census for nancy,only annie comes up.i think you will have to take the chance on the annie birth it could be your gran this would give both parents names

As to the births you show i have looked in to them and the area and parents i thought didn't match up,
I was going by gran dad being George and West Borm being where all of the family comes from?
My family in west Brom can't help me so i am on my own really and struggling though .

Yes it is the right marriage,the date is 19 Nov 1921.
Here is all i know about my Gran.
She died on 28 Feb 1959 age 63yrs that is how i worked her birth date.
On her marriage lic it says her father is George Martin,she was 25 yrs old they lived at 48 Lyng Lane West Brom.
I have no idea who her mother is i would love to find out?
