Francis Marshall c1795 and Bridget Tracey 1796 possibly Paisley.

Their 1st child Jane b 29/8/1852 High Church Paisley
2nd child Jean 1853 Paisley
3rd Mary 20/12/1854 - possibly died young
Their son Hugh was born 22/10/1855 Kilmaurs Ayr and died 21/7/1873 Paisley
5th Mary 7/4/1856

Also birth record of Jane Colqohoun born Paisley 1826

I cannot find anything on scotlands people so any info would be wonderful

Hello Jane,
I would really appreciate it if you could find the birth record and eventually the Marriage/death records of Marshal(l) McMillen. He was my GGGGrandfather and on his daughter, Ann's marriage certificate he was described as deceased - she married in 1877 in Gateshead.
I don't know if Marshall married in Scotland or if he moved down to Co. Durham and married there and perhaps died there - can't find any other record of him except on FS where is birth date was given as 15.08.1827, birth place Inverurie, Aberdeen.

1. Williamina Ferguson nee Reid who died in Dundee on 1st October 1957 aged 44.

2. Mary Ferguson who also died in Dundee on 9th February 1959 aged 80.

Parents were Patrick/Peter Healey and Bridget Malone /Malhoney she also called herself Betty /Betsy or Elizabeth. This is one of the reasons why i can,t find any thing on them .They have known to use variant spellings of the surname too.
They were born in Helensburgh except for Catherine she was born in Ireland .
In 1871they were at Havelock Buildings in Helensburgh but after that the trail goes cold , except John in 1879 who was the informant on his fathers death cert , at Alma Place Helensburgh .

I dont know if they keep these records there, but i you wouldnt mind having a look.
It is for a peter skivington(born in 1913 dundee) who attended st josephs industrial school tranent, he was there.
from about 1921 to possibly 1929, he was there for some reason , but dont know what.

Alexander Clark Hill born 12/1/1928 parents Joseph hill and Janet Clark

His mother re-married in 1932 to a James bell she died in 1982 in Brechin.

Other than his birth i can find nothing on him he was my Gransfathers half brother who we knew nothing about until i starting doing family tree, by which time my Grandfather had passed away,anything you could find would be great, as i am hoping he may still be alive
