Find Ancestors

Ive just found the military service record and casualty details for my great great grandad.
The problem is that this has highlighted that all the ancestors i was given for Alfred Thomas Heeks by a family member are incorrect!

I know that this is the correct Military record since it names my great grandmother as his child (Ivy Elizabeth Maria Heeks b.11-09-1915) and his wife as Emma Elizabeth Heeks (formally Furlonger.)

So, if can anyone help me to find Alfred's correct family on Census records and his correct birth i would be most grateful (and i promise not to trust family members and buy certificates to comfirm things for myself!)

What i know is:
Alfred Thomas Heeks (Service No. C/4309) died 27-07-1917 in Belgium ~ From CWGC site.

His Miliatary Service record is under the name Thomas Heeks on ancestry (Same Regiment and Service number):
He joined 23-07-1915, aged 29 years 42 days.
His wife was Emma Elizabeth Furlonger.
His children were: Ernest George (1906), Jack (1909), Edwin James (1911) and Ivy E M (1915)
The family were living in Balham.
His parents are: George Joseph Heeks (deceased by 1919) and Dinah.

I have 1911 Census for Alfred & Emma. Alfred is 24 and was born in Gloustershire.

Thanks Ann of GG ~ I should have said i already have Emma E Furlongers birth certificate so know who her parents are.

I think that Alfred Heeks birth is too early...he must have been born around 1886-1888.

If his army records are correct then he should have been born around June 11th 1886

This could be Alfred's father...all of Alfred's children were born in Wandsworth, so maybe the family were all in that area?

ETA: Your too quick for me...that certainly seems likely...i wonder where Alfred was though?

Ive now found 1901 and 1881 on ancesty, but cant find the 1891 that you posted.
Now i know where Thomas (Alfred's) Son's name "Jack" came from...it just didnt seem to fit with his other childrens names.

I have found this Marriage:
Dinah Griffin and George Joseph Hicks, 3rd quarter 1865 Chipping S

Which is looking very likely to be Alfred "Thomas" Heek's parents.

Im still looking for the births of his siblings: Walter, Georgina, Clara S and Joe V H (from 1881 Census), i have found those of other siblings.

Brenda, that 1886 Fulham birth is most certainly his (and im about to order cert to confirm) as Kate, Harry, Daisy and Lily ive also found as being born in Fulham.
