Hi All,could anyone please help me find an Edward Bissex 1849 Keynsham,Bristol he married an Emma and at some stage they were
living at 57,Richmond St Bristol i am hoping to find a fostered child living with them named Flora Camilla Brown..who was born in 1899,Gloucestershire..however her name could have been changed.

The only Flora I can find in 1901 is this one, Flora B Binns said to have been born in Gloucestershire.

Problem is, no Flora Binns born in Gloucestershire or anywhere, as far as I can see. Could it be your Flora, 'B' being for Brown?

The wife is Emma Bucknell - which doesn't actually help with finding Flora but thought it might be of interest

Edit - Cancel that - he'd only have been about 12

Oh Wilma..you might have hit on something..the story goes that Emma
Bissex had to give little Flora up quite early to a famiy called the Martins,who lived in the same street,
who then whisked her off to Australia..but that wasn't till she was about
5..so she should still be around on the 1901 census

Just looked at the fostering cert its dated the 8thof March..so it looks as though Edwards death was just after the fostering as he is named on the cert??
