I do not have access to 1851 census

1861 she is not there but probably married.

Back to freebmd

search for marriage before 1861.

one likely

Marriages Dec 1853 (>99%)
Adams Sarah Ann W. London 1c 111
Munday Susan W London 1c 111
PURTON Edward W. London 1c 111
Smith William Henry W london 1c 111

there is Edward Purton

Cannot see Edward or Susan in 61 or 71

It does not mean it is not there

may be mistranscribed or the record may be illegible

Hi Christine
Sorry to be a pain in the bum but I am still learning and you are all so great, how did you get the commercial info.
Thomas Parrett the herbalist was my great grandfather my grandfather was Edward Parrett I think his middle name was Telford and I know they had a coal buisness because my father worked with him.
Would love to know where you got the info nelson street is where my father was born and lived as a child so Victoria Dock road was prob the previous address. I remeber my father taking me to see his house when I was a child but has my father was in his 50s when I was born and has since died I have no relatives to get any info from.
Sorry about the delay in replying but I am in Aus.
Thanks once again for all your help.

hi Caroline,
My mum (Hazel Parrett born 7/8/1935) is your cousin !
Her dad was Joseph Kenneth Parrett whose brothers were Edward Talfourd born 1904, William Leslie born 1905, Victor F born 1913 and Percy T born 1914. His sisters were Gladys Elizabeth born 1907, Ivy E born 1911 and Edith Y born 1916.
If you get this reply, and get back to me I`ll let you have some more info.

Fancy that, Heather!

Your best bet would be to click on Christine's name and send her a private message. If she's around here at GR she'll see it, or if not, hopefully her email address in the GR system is up to date and she'll get a notification that way. (No notifications are sent of replies in threads.)

Good luck!

Oh, and -- how did we all do with tracing the family then??
