Find Ancestors

I am trying to trace Francis Cannings on the 1871 and 1881 census. I am almost sure his father was a John Cannings

Francis b 1862
John b1838 and wife Ann b1840 all of Newbury Berkshire.
I think I have John living at Bath Court on 1881 census.
Francis married in 1890 to Elizabeth and have him on 1901 census with his wife and family but unable to trace earlier on census, I hope I have given enough details. Any help graciously accepted. Thank you

If my info is correct Francis had a second name of stephen. He was b 1861 Newbury March qtr. I do not think that this is him, but thanks for trying.

Had a look on Freebmd for a birth around 1861 for your Francis Cannings....so far no luck...Thought I would show you the other Francis although not born Berkshire.

I have sent for birth cert and marriage and I should have them by Wednes this week. Just a bit cutios I cannot find Francis on census of 1881.

Think I've got it. Hes registered on the 1881 as Frederick!! ( I think)

I have studdied the results you kind people have found for me, of which I am very pleased about. Is there anyone with access to the 1891 census that can look up Francis and his wife Elizabeth please? Francis b 1862 Newbury area Bagnor Berkshire. Thank you.
As a bit more info there is a gertrude b 1889 approx to Francis and Elizabeth. Does this help to narrow the field?
