Nina, What GREENs??

Said Maureen (refusing to scratch about 30 bug bites and being driven to distraction in the interim).

Brilliant, so happy it all worked out!

I've just got back from England after my daughter's Graduation Ceremony so have been celebrating for the last couple of days but always ready for another one.

Will have a drink tonight on your behalf but will keep a bottle in the fridge just in case you turn up at the door!

Hope you find the Greens Nina!
Regards
Catherine

Hello, Ladies, Here is the update that you have been waiting for.

I recieved in the post, this morning, the birth cert of John William's younger brother, and it states, mother Florence nee Revill !!!!!

Thanks for your wonderful detective work, and brilliant insight, I can't praise you enough.

Thank you again, Nina from miserable, soaking wet Sheffield.

You're very welcome Maureen!
I live in a small village about 30Kilometres from Paris and about 15 from Versailles so we could do lots of visiting if you like.
Or, we could just have a big Barby in the garden!

Seriously,though.....when Nina gets the birth cert for one of the younger children and it says Flo. REV"L as maiden name of mother---I'll stand us a round.
(mind you I do live on Long Island NY. Let's all go to Catherine's place instead)

Update, recieved John William's marriage cert today, and cert for John William Revitt.

As this, by itself, is not much use, I have sent for a younger sibling's birth cert today.

Watch this space, it will be a week or so.

Costing me a small fortune this, good job it's OH's money.

MaureeninNY Report 9 Jul 2009 18:08

Thankyou everyone, You have come up with OH's grandfather, and gt grandparents marriages.

Now we have to solve John William's birth. The Ecclesall Bierlow is a red herring, and I don't think the Chesterfield one is right ( Iv'e seen those on census records)

Now I can order his marriage cert, and his proper name will be on that, although he was always known as John Will to everyone, Plus that is on the census.

Once again, thanks a million for all your kind help, love Nina from Sheffield
