please help i am trying to find emma barnett born congleton 1819 i have found her in the 1851 in macclesfield lodging on crompton rd unwed with two children eliza barnett age5 alice age3 children born sutton macclesfield i then find her again in 1881 census as emma mason with granson william barnett age 8 in the 1891 census emma is living with her daughter alice lockett and hub james lockett , william henry barnett granson age 18 alice lockett past away1892 and emma mason past away 1893 in the workhouse macclesfield on her death cert it said she was wed to a thomas mason macclesfield can any one find out where emma barnett/mason were in the 1861 and 1871 census please and any marriage between emma barnett and thomas mason meny thanks x

william henry barnett born 1873 is my gg grandad past away 12/3/1946 i can not find any birth cert for him in the cheshire bmd or the uk bmd on william henry wed cert there is no father named

in the census 1881 he was 8 years old born macclesfield he was emma mason granson
in the 1891 census william henry barnett lived with his mum alice lockett ,james lockett ,emma mason alice lockett mum

i have sent off for alice barnett birth cert born sutton macclesfield 1849 so i hope this helps xx thanks again for all your help i cant see the wood from the trees

a family member has all ready tryed that one and it was a no no i have also tryed crew and that was a no as well i will check the hide one again with him just to double check . would i find his date of birth on any thing else ? on his record of service papers for ww1 his age on there is 45 years 4 months the paper was dated 4/7/1918 thanks for your help x

hi dee i think that william henry barnett was back in macclesfield befor 1881 some of his gran children are still alive one seems to think he was born in sutton but i think you could be right with leek i dont think he had any brothers or sisters or should i say his gran children cant think of any thanks
