Brian, did you see the marriage I posted for Annie E Mills to Charles Roberts?

I would advise that you purchase this cert to try to find more details about Annie Elizabeth. Hopefully the cert will have her father's name, occupation and her correct age.

Brian

That marriage was for Amelia Elizabeth Jane Mills, to Sidney V Lloyd ,who was with the Dallimores in 1911.

William Thomas Dallimore was not with family in 1911 and K found his poss death in 1907 he was aged 29 so that puts his dob around 1878-1879.

On the 1902 marriage cert it should give his age and father's name but not where he was born.

Does anyone have a record on the 1911 census of the marriage of clara mills
and william thomas dellamore in june 1902.
Does it also state the age and birthplace of w t dellamore etc.

Also, I should have said Oswestry was the home of my Grandfather Charles Roberts not Charles Mills.
Don't know what I'm doing this morning, making typing errors etc,
Thanks
Brian.

This looks like her marriage.

This may name her father to confirm the findings.

To Cassy and Liverbird

Elizabeth A Mills married my late grandfather Charles Roberts just after the 1st world war, 1918 I think, not to E J Lloyd. Went on to have six children one of which was my mother and lived in the Oswestry area Shropshire the home of my grandfather Charles Mills.
Charles was in the army 1914-1918 and when he returned from the Somme he was posted to army barracks near Monmouth and that's near where he met his future wife my Grandmother Elizabeth A Mills.
My mother also told me this morning that Elizabeth, her mother was also known as Annie.

I was also informed this morning that my grandmother also had a sister called Ada,
could have been a half sister if her mother re-married.
There was also a Aunt Ginny and a uncle Tom somewhere in the family.

Best Regards (I really appreciate what all of you are doing for me)
Brian

It looks like the Hooleys were grandparents on Elizabeth's mother's side of the family.

Liverbird posted a marriage of Clara Hooley to Charles Edwin Mills in 1892 who may be Elizabeth's parents and Charles Edwin died pre 1901
