I think it interesting - the Samuel and Elizabeth marriage. The reason that I was asking if the only evidence of Frank's father's name was Frank junior's marriage certificate, I was wondering if Frank senior really was a Frank! As I am sure that many of us have found often a parent name is incorrect on a marriage certificate if the parent died when the child was young. In the case of boys, I have found that if this is the case or if the boy is illegitmate and father unknown, the name of the father is almost always the same as the son.

I'm trying to verify that a George Walter Larwood (born in 1879) is part of the following family group

The 1881 census does not show George or Maria so anyone who can help with an 1891 lookup I would greatly appreciate it.

I don't think I'm any the wiser at the moment as to where Frank Eade was born or where the Leavesden Institute fits in......I'm going shoe shopping for the daughter, I'll be back later!

Funnily enough there is also a Samuel Eade living at Dickinson Street St Pancras who is also an organ builder. He is a boarder but down as married:

The only problem being that this Frank was born according to the census in Chelsea not Bethnal Green.
