George Sr died 27th Nov 1872 at Berkswell, WAR.

I am related thru' the FLECKNERs.

Ellen / Eleanor FLECKNOR ch 31st Dec 1812 was a younger sister of your Catherine b1805 married George KELSEY.

Ellen married Thomas ARNOLD on 2nd Oct 1838 - they are my GGgrandparents!!

Yes I have been using GR - as you say its quite inflexible when searching! I will have to have a look into Ancestry.

Hi Vanessa,

Are you using Gr for the census info?

Ancestry is much more flexible as you can search with just Christian names or parents names etc. Makes them easier to find if they have been mistranscribed.

I believe you have to enter full names on Gr.

Hi Vicci - I have been using familysearch & freebmd, just having trouble with census stuff as search criteria on here is a bit limited!

I used Ancestry, just Christian name and birth year and place, then looked for likely matches.

After finding the 1871. I then used daughter Mary A, haven't found them in 1861 as yet

I presume one of those deaths would be George ca 1810 as I have jr right up to 1901 census. I will have to investigate those further - thanks again for your time & effort.

Solihull, Meriden, Berkswell were all in pretty close proximity so that is almost certainly going to be Catherine.

Vicci, I feel sure that is them as there is George (ca 1834) too! Can you tell me where you searched these as I had tried on here for ages!
