Hello Val

I have all the original wills......

He is named in them in 1906 along with other grandchildren of F.H.Ayres (Sports Manufacturers)

6 codicils later in 1919 he is not mentioned so he must be dead!!! all the other grandchildren are on the will ............................less his aunts & uncles that have died in between

Well it is not Stanley on The Arras Memorial at Faubourg-D'Amiens Cemetery as he has parents of GW and A and wife Edna of Huddersfield

Ancestry have that record under Stanley Steven Ayres...................

They have actually typed it in even though the obituary ion newspaer says S Ayres ......................

the Family business F.H. Ayres Sports equipment & the best rocking horses made in the world.............

If you google it

I am trying to do his tree for him because he is a life long friend and is 70yrs and obviously a bit worried...............

He my friend & an ancestor has no more money then the rest of us!

I have a lot of respect for how his ancestors built up the family trade before they sold out to Slazengers...............

His medal card comes up when you type his full name in Ancestry:

Stanley S Ayres

Christine in Portugal came up with that info earlier on but did not give me a birth address

He was born Charterhouse Square, Middlesex, London, England

does that tie in with what you have???

Perhaps there were more codicils to the will

Thank god it is readable
The will I have is 11 pages long.............

It does look like they have found my Stanley on the record as he did have an uncle Clarence Montague Ayres from Nuneaton...............

How do I find Stanley after the 1911 census that he did not appear in apart from tttttrrrrraaaaawwwwwlllliiiiiinnnnngggggggggg through death records
