Can anyone please look up the 1891 Scottish Census for John and Martha Gray, they would be about 20/25 years old and lived in Greenock or Port Glasgow, Renfrewshire.
Thank you.

Perhaps Elizabeth died young?

Jacqueline

Jacqueline Report 22 Nov 2009 11:33

Sandra there is a death on SP

Elizabeth Gray died on 11 November 1891 at 8 Argyle Street Portglasgow age 1 father John Gray Iron Caulker mother Martha Gray m/s Cunningham

Not managed to find her birth though in the Renfrew district the image on the census on SP says that she was born in Port Glasgow but there is no corresponding birth in 1890/91 to match .
Martha was born in Ireland incase you haven't got this info

Jackie,
Thank you very much. I looked for a marriage with the last of my credits on SP and only one came up, I looked and it was the wrong one AGAIN.
No matter what line of my family I try to find, there's always some info missing, ie, birth, death etc.

Thank you again Jackie.

Joseph Gray isn't on the 1901 Census, where would he be, he would've only been 13?
Any ideas anyone ?

Sandra

do you have him after 1901 marrying? If not then he may have died between the census being taken
