Thanks to Jackie I have found out what happened to my Gt.Gt Gran Hannah Im really grateful. I went on Scotlands people as suggested and found out she married and had children. Im very grateful to you all. HAPPY NEW YEAR to you. |

Jackie I think you may have found my Hannah , I am very excited as I have just looked at my tree and Hannah was a servant to the Wight family in Norham,Berwickshire in the 1861 census. Although I am yearning to look at Scotlands People I must get some sleep as Im up at 6am tomorrow but I shall look tomorrow after work thank you so much I hope you get this. |

Forgot to mention I have James Glass 1859-1899 birth cert which gives Hannah as his Mother so at least I have been able to establish that |

I think you have to use a site called Scotland's people - which is pay per view. As far as I know they do not have an equivalent of freebmd. Will do a thread just to check - don't go away! |

In reply to your other questions Hannah is listed in the 1861 census as a servant at West Newbiggin Farm, Norham,Berwick then I loose track of her. |
