I'm not able to help much now, Viv. My subscription to Ancestry ran out a month ago. I was told to wait a couple of weeks and they would send a message offering a discount. Well, it didn't happen so I guess I'm going to have to bite the bullet and pay up. Even though I'm a Canadian now I was born and bred a Yorkshireman and we don't like to part with our money.

No, the marriage I posted was wrong, Viv. According to the other site that I posted his wife's name was Annie Rootham and his son who was killed in WW2 was Charles Rootham Foskett.

Also I cant find them on English 1911.

Just found out why I couldn't find Charles Foskett's attestation papers in Canada. He must have returned to England and joined up there. Wonder if he was living in Engand at the time of the 1911 census? Can't find him on the Canadian one.
