Hi Alison,

I have had a look around at the info you have given and it is all quite easily found.

What I don't understand is how this relates to your tree and what the 'conflicting info is which is bothering you.

If you DO want some help, I, and others on here are willing to assist but you need to try and explain what you are trying to connect.

The Chadwick's were a well-known, well respected family and local mill owners in Rochdale, Lancashire.
For many years the villa was neglected and run down; but now has been brought back to life, lovingly restored and tastefully furnished, with beautiful, genuine antiques and curiosities; into the boutique guesthouse accommodation we offer.

The day-to-day running of the Villas is in the charge of the Manageress, Anita and her staff, who will be only too happy to help with any of your needs during your stay with us, ensuring it is a memorable and enjoyable experience.

any forenames to go on?

Alison

Alison Report 8 Jan 2010 20:17

I have a lot of conflicting information, so really trying to verify any one of these strands.Main lead is Charles Chadwick (b.c.1830) with first wife possibly Betty, and subsequent marriage to Mary (possibly Farrow). I am particularly interested in possible leads to a son James (b.c 1858) and his family ,possible wife Angelina (no DOB) and child Mary (c 1880).
Any help much appreciated.

You obviously know a lot more info than you have posted, otherwise, how have you found these details?

Can you please post ALL you have on here so that we do not waste time searching for what you already have?

There are many sites we can use to help you but we need to know what you have already.

Thanks,

A long shot I know, but does anybody have any information relating to the Chadwick family who ran the Engineers Arms, Heywood late 19th early 20th century?
