Hi, my name is Haidee Hulland and I am trying to find out more about relatives on my mums side - her maiden name was Coral Godfrey

My grandad was Charles Godfrey and his dad was John Thomas Godfrey. John Thomas had brothers William, George, James and sisters Louisa, Mary and Jane (that were married and had children)

I know there was a lot of involvment with Gandhi in South Africa during late 1800's and early 1900's

Hi Haidee, have you tried "search trees" on here? over 300 matches with the name Godfrey...if you put approx date of birth on the possible matches may be easier to sift. Also have you tried the IGI? The good people on here are normally happy to help but it is better if they have approx years of birth etc.
