UPDATE.......GOT THE WEDDING CERTIFICATE ,,, ANNIE HENRIETTA SHERINGHAM MARRIED MARTIN MICHEAL NATHAN (BOTH OF THERE MIDDLE NAMES WERE THERE BIRTH NAMES), ON THE 12TH NOVEMBER 1916. ANNIES FATHER WAS DOWN AS ELIAS JOHN SHERINGHAM (DECEASED), I CANT FIND ELIAS ON THE CENSUS RECORDS, CAN ANYBODY HELP, POSSIBLY FROM IRELAND ?

ive found out that Elias was the father and her mother was Mary West. Im turning my attentions now to Elias Sheringham b 1844 , sometimes spelt Sherringham, I belive Mary was his second Wife as he was widowed, His first wife was Elizabeth but i dont know her maiden name and they had 2 children, Elizabeth & Nancy but im finding census infi hard to find, Any info is much appreciated........Thanks Steve

off track a bit , the William James I found at baptism turns up as friut salesman here , so strongly looks like Elias' brother.
