Alfred Prewett born c 1828 Bath Somerset occupation stationer.
First wife Susannah Anna Melluish
Second wife Sarah Elizebeth Wanstall
Alfred's father Alfred Prewett occupation upholsterer.
Mother unknown
He died surrounding a conspiracy around a doctor Michael De Quadros. A newspaer clipping I found, mentioned that Alfred Prewett was a cousin of the doctor's wife Emily Louisa Prewett :
Born 5th Nov 1882.
Father William Henry Prewett born 1825, Sailsbury Wiltshire.
First wife Fanny Bishop
Second wife Eliza Beeson.
I would like to find the connection, as Emily Prewett was my grandmother's aunt.

How sure are you that Alfred was born in Bath Somerset?



There is this one, baptized in Wiltshire in 1828 ........ which is where Emily Lousia's father came from

Hi, Thanks everyone for the info.
Two trees on ancestry, have neen copied from my tree on the site.
I cannot find the connection either.
My grandmother Helen Prewett was born in 1911, in Buckingham Palace workhose. Her mother was Mary Prewett, she was unmarried.
When she died we found all these photos, of a lost family. I only know about the Prewett's by researching my tree. My grandmother never spoke about her family, My father never knew anything either.
So I know Alfred Prewett is connected somewhere, because of the newspaper clipping, and he's will.
I have posted some photos on this site, if anyone recognises anyone.
Including a aunt and uncle that bought my nan up. Florence and Jack Prewett, living in Cheyne Walk Chelsea.
Although my nan was born in 1911, she is not living with her mother on the census. So she disappears.
They are all a mystery family.
I do appreiciate anyone helping me. Hope everyone understands my jumping around.
