Find Ancestors

I have looked for this lady without success in 1901. She remarried in 1904 so she should be around somewhere!

He name is Ellen Harriet LOVETT; her 1st husband's death was registered in June Q of 1901 so she may already be widowed.

She was born abt 1864 in Salisbury Wiltshire. She later married in Northampton and moved to Hampshire.

If anyone can spot her I shall be extremely grateful.

LOVETT was her married name. She married Richard Rokes LOVETT in 1886.

Richard death was registered in the JuneQ of 1901 so she may already be a widow.

I don't know where they were living just prior to Richard's death but they appear to be living separately in 1891; I think Ellen was recorded as LOVELL but I don't have the exact place to hand. Richard was living in Hampshire in 1891, Head, Married but no Ellen.

I've misplaced the image for Ellen, she was staying with a relative. I've got it somewhere!

what do you know about mr Ellis? can they be spotted on 1911 which might give clues to 1901

I have both Ellen and Walter Ellis in 1911. He is staying in Northampton with his parents, she is home in Aldershot with daughter Evelyn.

I have finally found the 1891 image of Ellen. She is living in Fleet Hampshire with her brother Samuel and sons Richard 4 and George 1.

I'll print a copy off so I don't lose it again.

Sorry Minnie! Just to clarify things. She married for the second time in Northampton to Walter Ellis.

Walter was in the army barracks in Hampshire in 1901, single.

I think he met Ellen there at some point and they came to Walter's home town to marry.
