I wonder? The only thing we know for definite is that Florence's father was Charles William and she married in Hull. |

Well, if the marriage certificate is the correct one, the father isn't the one who married the lady named Saul. That one doesn't have a second name. |

This is the message from Kathleen last week. She had asked previously about Charles William Brown the son of Eliza Brown but I think she was trying to piece it together and getting ahead of herself. I am hoping that she will respond to my questions on the thread but if she PM's me I will post the information here for all to see. |

It's a re-issue which is where my doubts are founded. |

Did Florence marry? |

Kathleen has a birth certificate and it gives the mother as Sarah Ann Saul as in her message heading and Florence's date of birth as 2nd February 1902. But I am not convinced yet that it is the correct birth certificate. |

The 'right' parents are in doubt as far as I can tell. |

I think that is this one and not the right parents but I'm not 100% convinced that Kath has the correct birth details for her mother. I have explained how to reply on the thread so I'm hoping she will respond. |

1911 - assuming she did not have a second name |

I'm assuming now that Kathleen's 'marriage' is pure guesswork on her part |

The birth certificate for Florence would appear to be the sensible way to proceed |
