Could you look in the London records fo me please. I am looking for my great aunt, Janet Baxter b l880/l, West Ham married Henry Kent Langham in l90l - widowed - remarried to William Alfred Haines in l907. I have found them on the l9ll census, but on the ER for 1939 William is living with his family in Invicta Road, West Ham - but Janet is not there.
I cannot find a re-marriage or death for her. Would appreciate any help,
Regards, Liz

What a kind offer Rose, thank you. I am looking for a death for a relative, but clueless about where London starts and ends! Might it cover this area, which is where I last have him?

Civil parish: Newington
Ecclesiastical parish: Walworth St Peter
County/Island: Surrey
Country: England

If it does, his name was Thomas Browning, born about 1812, wife Elizabeth. He would have died between 1851 and 1861.

Many thanks

Jan

Jan, yes some of 'mine' are Newington and areas of Surrey which show up as 'parishes not in a borough' on LMA so worth looking if you give me his name

edit LOL you added it as I asked...

I suppose it's pushing my luck to ask if Tolworth is covered by what you have?? (I doubt it as have asked before, but who knows!)
Cheers

Thanks very much for that death record Rose - hope I'm not hogging all your time here. I have very few links to the London area so after this will go away!

And apologies to people who have looked for the following before, I appreciate your time and have kept your info - this is one last try.

I'm looking for the birth of my ggg grandfather William Maurice Powell. He was born about 1829 in Tolworth. His father was John Horace Powell according to his marriage cert.

Thanks you again.

Hi Rose,

Can you find in the 1891 OR 1901 census a Thomas Hutchings (b 1867) Correct birth date .....Holsworthy Devon.

I have him in 1881 down as b 1868? living with his mother Catherine Hoskin b1851and stepfather George Hoskin.

In the 1871 b1868 ? Hosworthy Devon (as a boarder)

I can see in the index of the 1911 there are two Thomas Hutchings one is in Jersey other in London.....so not sure of either of these two. So he might be in Jersey in either in 1891 or 1901 ?

Any findings would be very grateful .
Thanking you Marilyn
