Find Ancestors

It's a long shot as I don't know much about this side of the family.
Jack Maple, I believe born around 1893 married my great aunt Mabel A Hall in West Ashford in December 1927.
I'm trying to find a date of birth and death for Jack. I know Mabel died in 1978 and her sister Chris Hall who never married died the same year. Their sister Minnie married my grandfather Thomas HH Gosden.
any help would be much appreciated.

Thank you Catherine. im also looking for anything on Mabel A, Christine and Minnie Hall. They are sisters and my dad believes they came from the oxfordshire area, unsure though but he knows that my gran Minnie was 18 before she saw the sea!!! I have no idea who their parents are either.

Minnie Hall was born round the 1900s, she had 2 sisters that I know of, Mabel A who married Jack Maple and Christine (or Chris as she preferred to be known as).
I am told by my dad that he belives she was born somewhere in the oxfordshire area? although this isnt definite, but she did not see the sea until shw was 18.
I do not know who her parents were. Minnie married my grandad Thomas Henry Hermon Gosden in Hailsham and died in 1978, as did her 2 sisters.

we arent totally sure, as my gran minnie died in 1978 and so did either chris or mabel. all information that was for my gran and grandads side of the family has disappeared so im trying to pick the pieces up again.

hi have had some more information regarding my gran minnie. my mum has at last found my dads birth certificate. this is a shock to me so am not sure where mabel and chris hall come in but they are relatives of ours.
minnie is Leeson not Hall!!!!
Same area as Mabel tho, maybe they are cousins instead, but I have always known them as Auntie Mabel and Auntie Chris.

Not sure where the Leeson is coming from !

this is very interesting, am just wondering if Leeson is maybe grans middle name as thank you choccy you have found her on the census.

Have you got a copy of the marriage certificate of Thomas Gosden and Minnie Hall (?Leeson).

I can't find a birth for a Minnie Leeson.

i will have to get a copy, i will try my cousin first see if she has.
